March 2021: OFSTED Outcome
In March, we received our official report from OFSTED, which will be published online in 8 days. We were delighted with the strengths they identified which included:
“Trainers (assessors), who have extensive sector experience, expertly draw upon their knowledge to teach apprentices substantial new skills and knowledge related to their job roles. Apprentices use their newly learned skills well at work. Employers recognise the improvements apprentices have made due to their learning and value their positive contributions to the workplace.”
We also received feedback that employers respected, understood and felt the value of off the job teaching and learning. This is central to our ethos of learning and development. We are so glad it translated during inspectors interviews with learners and employers!
Finally, were delighted that our learners felt supported and safe, particularly throughout the pandemic.
Its great to get our ethos recognised in this way; high quality trainers delivering high quality impactful training and assessment!
