Under normal circumstances mental health needs increasing attention. However, as the pandemic continues we cannot ignore the collateral damage all around us. Coping with lockdown, restrictions, furlough, lost businesses, lost employment, etc is not easy. We invite all partners to understand mental health but also take positive actions to prevent, treat or cure mental health. Please review the below link and take time to broaden your search online to develop knowledge and understand of mental health, and the impact it can have. Use for yourself, but also within your family, work and community.
As part of ongoing restrictions shopping, socialising and working online is increasingly the new norm. We invite all staff, learners and employers to develop their CPD around e-safety, for the protection of themselves and others. Please take time to learn about staying safe online. See links and CPD training below.
During lockdowns and within the sectors we support home working is increasingly essential, along with lone working. We expect all partners to ensure they are monitoring their health and safety at home or when lone working. Please see below.
As part of ensuring we all work and operate in a safe environment please find below our COVID Risk Assessment that we invite all colleagues, staff, employers and learners to be familiar with. We expect all partners to follow all government guidance to help limit the spread.
In response to the tragic pandemic Achieving Excellence UK Ltd transitioned immediately to remote, virtual and online teaching learning and assessment. We wanted to show our support to our learners by carrying on as normal (as possible). We were empathetic to learners, employer and other stakeholders situations and needs but wanted to ensure our foundation was there for our learners. See below our Remote Assessment Policy and Procedure. Also find attached our COVID Policy and Procedure.
